From the fertile imagination of Ambergris Baphomet come designs that haunt us, tempt us and tease us. One thing is true of Ambergris — we can always expect the unexpected! At left, CHM Bad Boyz Model Olaf Barbosa asserts his dark powers and Calamity lounges on the floor in Ambergris.

The Dark Desires show at the OnRez runway on Sunday, September 14th at 1pm SLT was filled with ADF hallmarks: leather and lace, hard cuts and soft flowing skirts. The Goth show featured ghostly white skins and frighteningly beautiful hairstyles on the ever glamourous Calamity's Haute Models. Vivienne Darcy, CHM Runway Organizer modeled the sleek Intense pantsuit show above.
Below, Rhonda watches her back in the darkly beguiling Serenity dress and Salvo dares us to admire him in the stately Radu.

CHM Agency model Veronica Krasner opened the show of wearble art in AUTUMN LEAVES evoking the sensory details of Fall. The rich colors of falling leaves covered the arms in full-length sleeves and a sassy above-the-knee length skirt. This is the perfect dress to warm up that chilled Autumn air with a vigorous salsa! Supermodel Desiree Lura owned the runway in the SEDUCTION OF GUSTAVE MOREAU. Moreau, a French Symbolist painter, used biblical and mythological figures to create literary ideas through paint. The chic styling of the top, ablaze with shades of gold, green and orange, demands attention. There’s a chill in the air, the colors are changing, and it’s time to mark our calendars for our annual Fall runway show on Sunday, September 7, 1pm SLT at the OnRez runway.

“The Art of Autumn” will showcase two of the most admired designers in SL today as we present the colorful art of Thera Taurog of Lady Thera designs and Fuscia Jewell of Petal Meg jewelry designs.

I chose to showcase designers Thera Taurog and Fuscia Jewell in my annual Fall runway show because their designs are so perfectly suited for Autumn colors and themes. Lady Thera designs are literally wearable art. Thera has brought the works of the greatest artists of all time into SL and worked them into fabulous dress designs. Her designs are elegant but fun and excellently executed, easily one of the best and most daring designers in SL. I have wanted to showcase her designs in one of my runway productions since the first time I saw her work. So, this show is very exciting for me.

And of course, Petal Meg jewelry is perfect all year round, but especially for Fall. Her lovely flower and leaf creations imported from RL to SL are unlike any others. Fuscia's designs are truly unique just as flowers are in RL. I have featured her jewelry in other runway shows, and I’m very happy to showcase her designs in the Art of Autumn show.

The long and supportive association between ADF and Calamity began by Amber giving Calamity her first modeling job in SL. Later, in 2007, Calamity became the ADF Model Manager. Amber is one of the designers in SL who believes in supporting and encouraging models, and has become not only a favorite designer to model for, but also adored by models for her loving and fun nature. Models know that being in an ADF show means anything and everything can change in the blink of an Ambergris creative eye.
As Amber always says, "eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!"

Sizzling Haute Summer Casuals Runway Show

The Sizzling Haute Summer Casuals Runway Show was a huge success! In the photo above is Calamity's Haute Model Ashland Carver wearing a Mythology hoody and signature jeans, Calico Ingmann's Ketra hairstyle in Dirty Blond and the lovely Fleur Vanilla Parfait 3 skin. The delicate Silver Sophistication necklace & bracelet are by Alexandar Vargas. In the other shot, Ashland is wearing Mythology's Brown Zipper Pants & Black Satin Corset, the fresh and vibrant Fleur Boutique Strawberry Parfait 3skin, and Calico's luxurious hairstyle Kayla in Copper.

~~~~~THE SHOW SIZZLED! Many people in the audience IM'd to say it was the best runway show they had seen yet in SL! One designer said she was totally impressed with how well organized the show was and how much fun it was for the audience! The SL press enjoyed the show too.. all great reviews. Thank you to the models who of course were, as always, CHM-professional (which has come to mean perfect!), beautiful and HAUTE! Mythology outfits are great for runway showing with the vivid colors and styling. And of course the show was raised up over the top with the inclusion of new hairstyles by Calico Ingmann of Calico Ingmann Creations! Calico proved once again that not only is she a fabulous hair designer, she is also generously supportive of models in SL! Thank you Calico, we love you! Alexandar Vargas jewelry added the extra sparkle to the runway and the lovely new skins by Fleur Skins Vivant were a huge hit with the audience and models. Brio's Gestures added the fun and spice that made the show not only hot but sizzling haute! Thank you CHM Agency Models and staff and thank you designers! You rock the SL fashion community!

In the top photo, Calamity's Haute Model Olaf Barbosa sizzled on the runway in Mythology's tribal shorts and Skull tank in black topped off with Calico Inmann Creations' hairstyle Jeremy in Midnight. In the next photo, Olaf created appreciative chat from the audience when he walked the runway in Mythology Rebel Grunge Jeans, the Brick Buttonup Shirt and his trademark hairstyle, Calico Ingmann's Fossarius in Golden Midnight.
Calamity's Haute Model Lorenz Hax, third photo down, was handsome in Mythology's Shirt, Black Vest with the regular blue jeans, Calico's hairstyle Theodore in Chocolate and the Fleur Vivant Bronze Late Shift skin. In the bottom photo, Lorenz modeled Mythology's Dark Jeans & Polo Shirt emblazoned with the brand logo and the Calico Ingmann hairstyle Jordan in Raven.

SL5B Model Experience CHM Exhibit a Popular One

Our SL5B exhibit, The Model Experience was visited by many people nonmodels, aspiring models and surprisingly many models from other agencies visited and tried out the runway at the exhibit. All of the feedback on it was enthusiastically positive as far as theme and the beautiful build was popular amoung builders. Several people filmed Olaf's demolition of the building on the last day of the SL5B celebration and the sim filled to capacity with people who wanted to watch the big blow up! A few of those videos made their way to YouTube. The party atmosphere turned wild with the thousands of prims from a griefer.. the true mark of a successful event LOL. It was a lot of fun, and we intend to do it all again for SL6B! Thank you Olaf Barbosa for the wonderful build, thank you models and staff of CHM for the time and work you put into making our first exhibit a great one to remember!

This red-hot fashion show will feature women's and men's outifts from Mythology, hair from Calico Ingmann Creations, jewelry by Alexander, skins by Fleur Skins Vivant and gestures by Brio's Gestures!

All members of the audience will recieve a gift bag of treats as a souvenir of the show!

Not only does Noena have an eye for beauty and an awesome artistic talent as a photographer, she is also a kind and considerate person, a true joy to work with. SL5B Exhibit - Happy Birthday SL!!!

The CHM Agency exhibit, "The Model Experience," is located at the SL5B sim Phantom! Visitors click on the sign at the entrance to recieve their "model assignment" and venture backstage to collect their poses and further instructions. Visitors will experience a bit of what it's like to be a virtual model walking the runway! The end of the runway is a great spot for a snapshot of yourself! Also, visitors can try the many model posing stands and use the photostudio to take snapshots of themselves. Backstage the models' snack table is set with the finest caviar and champagne, so help yourself! This exhibit is all about fun and geared toward visitors and aspiring models. The CHM models will be taking their regular runway practices at the exhibit and visitors are welcome to join in with them! It's a chance to talk to the professionals, ask them questions about their careers and advice, they'll be happy to talk to you! Thank you to CH Enterprises builder Olaf Barbosa and Artistic Advisor Noena Merlin for making the CHM Agency exhibit the most gorgeous build in the sim!
